The Adult Correctional Officer Core Course is a 5 week, 195 hour training course certified by California Standards in Training for Corrections (STC). This course is required to be taken within 1 year of being hired as a full-time Adult Correctional Officer, working within local jail facilities throughout California. The course will be presented in a 4 day a week, 10 hour day format (4/10).
