Application for Admission
The online Application for Admission to Lassen Community College is a two step process. The Application process is completed through the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office.
- Create your account. Create your account with the OpenCCC system.
- Complete your application. Once you have created an account you are then taken into MyPath. You can Take the Career Assessment, Explore Careers, or proceed to Apply Now and complete an Application for Admission to Lassen Community College.
- Return to MyPath. Once your application is submitted return to MyPath to view additional information that is tailored to you.
- Once your application has been received and processed you will receive an email with your unique Student ID and login information within 2 business days.

CCC ID.me – Identity Verification
As of February 2, 2024, CCCApply will implement an identity verification service called “ID.me.” This service will help protect student identities and prevent fraudulent students from taking spots in classes at Lassen Community College.
All new applicants and existing students 18 years or older will be able to opt-in or opt-out of ID Verification.
Certain populations of students won’t be able to use ID.me:
- Those with no valid identity documentation from country of origin
- Those with no permanent address (housing insecure/unhoused)
- Those with no internet access or a smartphone
- Minors
For students that aren’t able to use ID.me, there will be a 24/7 student support provided by ID.me that will allow you to connect via live chat to verify your identity. You will also be able to verify in-person with Admissions and Records at Lassen Community College. Your verified status will last for one year.
If students choose to not verify their identity, access to financial aid may be limited or delayed moving forward.
