On Friday, June 28, 2019, outgoing Board Member Thomas Holybee was honored with an engraved plaque for his 24 years of service, a photo of the college, LCC tee shirts and a sweatshirt and refreshments. Dr. Marlon Hall, Superintendent/President presented Trustee Holybee with the plaque and read the following statement: "Thank you for your 24 years of service to the Lassen Community College District. Your love and passion for our students and the community is evident in your service as a Board member and instructor. For the past seven years of my tenure, you were one of my biggest supporters. I am thankful for your confidence in my leadership abilities. We love you and will miss you at Lassen Community College."
Also in attendance for the presentation in Loyalton, CA were Board President Sophia Wages, Vice President Louis Hamilton, Executive Assistant to the President and Board Julie Johnston, and Mr. Holybee's daughters Cathy Warren and Kelley Goni-Nichols.
