Technical, historical, aesthetic and cultural points of view will be considered. This course is designed to assist older adults in identifying and examining personal interests and aptitudes in painting and to enhance mental acuity, fine motor skills, and creativity as well as the appreciation of the visual arts. To cover the cost of paints, brushes and canvas, a $35.00 material fee will be charged at the time of enrollment. Students may need to purchase additional supplies to create more extensive projects.
