Cougar Cupboard

The Cougar Cupboard is Lassen Community College's very own food pantry. The cupboards purpose is to help student's get through a challenging time by offering supplemental food or hygienic supplies. Any hungry student attending LCC is welcome to use the cupboard.

We only ask that students be mindful of others and take only what is needed not what is convenient.  Students are allowed one visit per month and must bring their LCC Student Identification.

If students need additional food there are other resources in the community available

Students are also encouraged to sign-up for CalFresh, which is a monthly preloaded card specifically for groceries, if student qualifies. Below is the link to an online application, you may also visit Monteil Ackley in Basecamp, Creative Arts Room 209 for help signing up.

The cupboard is open every Wednesday of the month from 10am-2pm

The third Wednesday of the month USDA Commodities is operating out of the cupboard which can be utilized in addition to one cupboard visit during the month.

If any student is unable to get to the cupboard during normal operating hours please come speak with Monteil Ackley or Karissa Morehouse in Basecamp, CA209 for assistance.
