Student Services

Student Resources and Basic Needs


The Student Resource Center is here to provide students with services and resources that will assist in promoting academic success and adjustment to college life. We offer food & housing assistance, CalFresh application assistance, mental wellness support, emergency aid and more!

Food Assistance:

Lassen Community College students are able to access the on-campus food pantry, to obtain shelf stable, nutritious food items. We also offer food vouchers, to assist in purchasing groceries from a local supermarket. We offer start to finish CalFresh application assistance, which is a free monthly food benefit for qualifying students. You can also apply for CalFresh by using this link, https://benefitscal.com.

Housing Assistance:

The Victor St. Marie Residence Hall provides on-campus housing for men and women. The facility features a television lounge and recreation room, two laundry rooms, a study room, and Wi-Fi.

Transportation:

Every Lassen Community College student is eligible to receive a FREE bus pass for Lassen Rural Bus. We understand that sometimes taking the bus is not an option. We are here to help, so visit the Student Resource Center to find out about other transportation options and assistance.

Mental Wellness Support:

Lassen Community College offers short-term mental wellness supportive services to help students meet their academic and person goals in a confidential safe space.

As part of Lassen Community College's ongoing efforts to prioritize the health and well-being of the campus community, students now have free and immediate access to medical and mental health support through TimelyMD, the leading telehealth company specializing in higher education.
