Student Assessment Placement Testing
All new Lassen Community College students should participate in placement testing. Placement testing measures students’ abilities in areas of reading, writing, and math and provides useful information for course placement. Counselors use a variety of information in helping students, including assessment tests from other colleges, transcripts of academic course work, career goals, and the Lassen Community College Assessment Placement test.
All inquires for admission should be directed to the Admissions Office, Lassen Community College P.O. Box 3000, Susanville California 96130.
Late enrollment may be accepted after classes start but students registering late may find class choices limited. Students may enroll in regular classes up to two weeks after the first day of a semester.
Lassen Community College maintains an open enrollment policy that allows all high school graduates or non-graduates over the age of 18, to enroll in classes.
