All California residents are required to pay an enrollment fee of $36 per semester unit. A health fee of $7.50 for full-time students (12 units or more), $5 for part-time student (less than 12 Units) is also required. Some students are exempt from the enrollment fee. Students from other states or foreign countries pay a non-resident tuition of $199 per semester unit plus the California enrollment fee of $36 per unit and a health fee of $7.50 for full-time students (12 units or more), $5 for part-time students (less than 12 Units).

Nevada Good Neighbor Policy - Under the terms of the Good Neighbor policy with Nevada, students from Nevada pay $42 per semester unit plus designated fees such as the health fee. Enrollment in this policy is limited and enrollment is on first-come-first-serve basis. Early registration is strongly recommended.

The amount of tuition is determined yearly by the district governing board pursuant to the provisions of Education Code Section 76140 and is listed in the current class schedule.

Out of state students taking 6 or fewer units will also pay $42.00 per semester unit in addition to enrollment and Health fees.

A student health fee of $7.50 for full-time students (12 units or more) and $5 for part-time students (less than 12 Units) will be charged. During summer sessions this fee is $5 for full-time students and $3.50 for part-time students. Health fees are not refunded except in the incident of a cancelled course.

The State Education Code requires that Lassen Community College determine the official residence of each student enrolled in any class or classes maintained by the District. For this reason, students are required to complete the state residency from. Specific requirements for establish California residency are given in Board Policy 5160.
