DSP&S Counselor The DSP&S Counselor is located in the Student Services building. If you are a student with a disability who wishes to request accommodations, please call the counselor at (530) 251-8895 for an appointment. The counselor will assist you in completing an application for DSP&S services. You will be asked to provide proof of your disability, either in the form of medical documentation, or the name and address of an individual or agency who can verify your disability. Students with learning disabilities can call the Learning Disabilities Specialist directly at (530) 251-8867. Your progress will be monitored each semester to be sure you are receiving services necessary for you to reach your educational and vocational goal. If you are pursuing a degree or certificate, you will be asked to make an appointment for an assessment of your current reading, writing, and math abilities. The counselor can tell you about services provided by the financial aid office and about other services within our community.
