On behalf of the Governing Board and the faculty and staff I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Lassen College.
For over 80 years Lassen College has been serving the people and the communities of Northern California, as well as Nevada and other neighboring states, with quality higher education programs and services. This tradition continues today.

Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Lassen is a comprehensive two-year community college offering residence halls, unique and nationally renowned vocational programs, and transfer to four-year institutions including UC, CSU, and the University of Nevada at Reno and numerous private universities. Lassen College also boasts competitive athletic programs and various co-curricular and extra-curricular programs to enrich student life.
Nestled in the hills above Susanville, the campus sits at the juncture of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges and the Great Basin high desert. You may not find a more dramatic or beautiful college setting. A truly rural locale, the college is within miles of boating, fishing, hunting, cycling, hiking, horseback-riding and snow-sports.
