The Academic Senate acts to adopt a variety of documents directly related to academic and professional matters.
Many of these documents are reviewed and updated annually. Examples include Faculty Code of Ethics, Faculty Handbook, Handbooks for Correspondence and Online Instructors, Institutional Planning and Budget Development Process Handbook, and Shared Governance and Collegial Consultation Handbook.
Other documents are updated less frequently. Documents in this category include the Instructional Program Review Policy and Procedures Handbook, The LCC Verification of Faculty to Meet Minimum Qualifications in Discipline of Instruction Resource Handbook (LCC MQ Handbook), and Lassen Community College Honor Code.
